Washer Repair

Residential washer repair in Belmont and the surrounding Lakes Region.

Washer repair you can count on

A washing machine that won't drain or spin can leave you with a drum full of soaking wet laundry and no way to finish the job. Before you replace the machine, it is worth having it looked at — many of the most common failures are straightforward repairs.

We service residential washers of all types, including top-load and front-load machines. Our technician arrives with a mobile service shop and the test equipment needed to pinpoint the fault, then gives you a clear estimate before any work begins.

What we check

Washer faults usually trace back to a handful of components. A machine that won't drain is often a blocked pump filter or a failed drain pump. A machine that won't spin may have a worn drive belt, a faulty lid switch or a door lock assembly that is no longer reporting closed. Leaks are frequently a worn hose, a damaged door boot seal or a loose connection at the water inlet.

Because the symptoms of different faults overlap, guessing at parts gets expensive quickly. We test the components individually so the repair is based on what has actually failed.

Repair or replace?

We will tell you honestly. If a repair costs a large share of what a new machine would cost — or if the appliance is at the end of its service life — we will say so rather than sell you a repair that doesn't make sense. Either way you will have a straight answer and a working plan.
